  just got done watching this program and what impress me the most was the bravery of those x-witnesses to sit there on national tv and tell everyone how the wt.

  I sent a $1,000 to the JW's burnt out in the Happy Valley fire, didn't even get a thank you card.

  Offered a nice house for the Carr Fire. Son said he would present offer to Disaster Relief Committee. No reply.

  They will take a apostates money.

  october 23, 1967, was a monday.

  i stood in front of district judge leo brewster as he sentenced me to six years in federal prison.. .

  yeah, been there done that, 67 or 68 same issue same circumstance, only different sentence. The Sacramento judge fined $3,000 and 5 years probation. He figured prison for JW's was pointless and just a government expense. He was a fan of Abraham Lincoln and as during the Civil War one could buy their way out of army for $300, he just factored in inflation and made it $3,000.

  I share your feelings of resentment as to the absence of human feeling and willingness to sacrifice peoples lives in pure hypocrisy.

  WATCHTOWER Is Trying To Put Cameras In All of Their Kingdom Halls

  one of my best friends is in the security business.

  he told me the other day of how the watch tower has been in contact with his good friend and business associate.

  evidently they are inquiring about putting cameras into every kh so that they can do 24 hour monitoring.

  Saturday 6 KH's got the Thompsom Falls Newspaper article. Today they get the court exhibits

  Last night the Red Bluff Ca. where James Henderson the child molester is from got copies.

  I have taped lots of things to KH doors, even taped pretty pink panties when I had heard the swindler at the center of my dispute wife left him because of being homo.

  Realize I use tape not nails tacks like my exemplar Martin Luther, can't trigger a restraining order for damaging church property.

  as an elder, i saw one child abuse situation involving a man who wanted to be an elder and had i believe 8 children.

  he was not in our congregation when this all erupted.

  he denied it and moved to another hall and unbelievably, that body of elders wanted to appoint him since they believed his entire family was lying about him.

  I Was only in one molestation about 1973. A 18 year old married man molested a child right in the Hall, the Elders meet with him that night, although the senior elders really didn't knew what to do because he was not baptized and kind of left it hanging. He lived right behind my house, so next morning I knocked on his door and told him "if you ever touch another child I will break your fucking neck!".

  He was out of town that afternoon. I called Brooklyn where they said we could phone ahead and bar him from entering into another KH in the L.A. area his father was in. I did and he was not allowed in a KH as long as I knew. The child's mom was just a study and because of that decisive action became a witness.

  it seems almost everyone managed to salvage his tie and razor.

  i will not comment on those who lost homes, sad no matter what.

  Did the video say how many JW's lost houses in the Redding "Carr Fire", where I live? The shunning policy is all encompassing so I am isolated about local events from the fire.

  There was another major fire the "Happy Valley Fire" 16-18 years ago I sent a thousand dollars to local congregation handling donations back when I just had the "marked man" label, didn't even get a thank you.

  COC I just got back from the Carr fire area . between Redding and Whiskeytown Lake just devastation. I went to the Leweston road to work on a low bed. There was some fire burning by the road, evidently it made it to a 1/4 mile of Leweston and they think that part of the fire line will hold. lots and lots of powerline trucks planting new power poles. quite a sight. A lot of heat put off by the manzanita bushes.

  Article in Sat. paper. The "Carr" fire tornado spun 143 mph winds, 35,000-foot-tall plume per National Weather Service. Yes the ash from that night had pieces of tree bark. They are thinking this is the largest fire tornado in Calif. history and perhaps the strongest ever recorded.

  Could the WTB&TS 'spin' this as part of the last days?

  I am in Redding . Last Thursday the fire moved with a speed and intensity rarely seen by firemen, right in to the city.

  I listened to GM parts man tell someone that it was Armageddon. Another parts man went through the evacuation from sheriffs loudspeakers say "get out now" when the fire was on the other side of canyon, of which he said he was truly scarred.

  Actually I am headed out right now to work on a utility truck in the fire zone.

  A bit of history; the area burnt is covered with "manzanita" brush, burns REAL hot. the area was de nuded of vegetation by copper smelters over a hundred years ago. Just another example of man's foot prints on the earth.

  first, let's look at what counsel is published by the watchtower and required as proper behavior in the congregation.. *** g88 9/8 p. 20 should i tell on my friend?

  ***understandably, you may not feel you have the spiritual qualifications to readjust an erring friend.

  but would it not make sense to see to it that the matter is reported to someone who is qualified to help?
